What is the average cost to have your home ac unit serviced?
My ac unit is about 2 & 1/2 years old and has started freezing up pretty frequently.
Thanks. It doesn't sound like it will be as bad as I thought.

Why would my 98 Grand voyager have a power surge then the batter pop its tops while driving??
Took my van in a week ago to have the ac unit serviced, got it back headed about 2 1/2 hours up north, 2 hours into the trip all my gauges went haywire, battery light and abs light came on......turned off ac and lost all my gauges as well as the lights for my odometer and gears , turned ac on and gauges and lights came back on (battery and abs light never went off).........managed to finish the trip and get it the 2 1/2 hours back home......let it set over the weekend as the shop was closed.....took it in first thing on monday and they said it was my tension pulley, said it was warped and the belt wouldnt stay on right, got that fixed, next day while driving went haywire again only thing that was on was my lights...........all my dash lights got super bright and then there was a *pop* in the vent and a puff of smoke, then a *pop* under the hood and all went dead, pulled over, opened hood and battery had popped its top.......anyone know why this may have happened??
Took it to the dealership 3 times already, didnt have any trouble till they took the dash off to open the blender door when I had the ac serviced
Also the alternator and battery were both les then 4 months old
Well it is back in the shop again (3 times today alone!!!)......first today they said it was the fan relay....they installed a new relay kit......sent me on my way....didnt get out of the parking lot and air bag light came on and wont go off, took it back around and they said it blew the fuse, they put a bigger fuse in and it blew....they said it is common in plymouths and it should be a problem....went to leave again and my radio quit working...drove right back around the parking lot and before I got back to the bay door the battery light came on again...they took it in, about 45 minutes later they say the radio fuse blew and battery light was on due to leaking coolant hose (never had a leak) and the hoses blew off.....they now deny taking the dash out to open the blender door...they still have not checked in the dash for the problem that caused the *pop* and spark and smoke that came from the dash......could they have screwed up the wiring in the dash??
also put a new battery in it today
Now they are saying it is the PCM....that it is continuosly grounding......could that be caused from wiring they screwed up while under the dash??

Hot water tank won't turn on...?
Hey..
I woke up today trying to take a shower but with no hot water. Went upstairs checked out/turn on pilot...but no go! I'm getting sparks from the ignitor when firing.....but no gas and burner won't run.
What's wrong???
Two weeks ago..I had my AC unit serviced(only a few feet from the hot water burner/tank.). I'm afraid the guy pulled a quick one on me...in order to come back to fix that'll cost me $200....but really a "quick fix"
