Looking For The Right Heating Air Conditioning
Many people rely very heavily on their air conditioning and heating systems, and may not even realize how much of a daily impact they have on their lives until a problem occurs and they no longer work as expected. For many people, it is time to call a contractor who specializes in heating air conditioning in Portland. It may seem a little intimidating to find a good contractor, but it isn't as hard as it may seem.
When you are looking for the right contractor to work with your ventilation system, you may want to start with an internet search. If you look for 'heating air conditioning in Portland' you will be able to generate a list of contractors near you that specialize in the work you need to have done. You will be able to see where they are located and may be able to find a lot of good information on their websites. Some may include customer referrals or testimonials, which can help you get a feeling for how other people have felt about their work. Often, you can find price lists for services, which can really give you something to compare as you look at other companies.
Quality is one of the most important aspects of this type of repair, and you want an experienced contractor to do the work for you. Finding out how long a contractor has been in business and how much experience he has providing services for heating air conditioning in Portland on systems similar to the one in your house will help you feel confident that the quality of the work will be good.
It is also a good idea to check on the licensing and insurance coverage of the contractor before you hire him to do the work for you. You want to know that everyone will be safe and that accidents and damage related to the repairs will be covered by his policy.
Be sure to get all estimates in writing so that you can compare prices and services between companies. If you feel that each of the companies you are looking at has plenty of experience and can be expected to do an excellent job in providing repairs to your heating air conditioning in Portland, then you can look at the amount of time it will take and the prices that will be charged to help you make your final decision. Be sure to read the entire contract before signing it, and make sure that the contractor also signs it so that you are both protected.

How much would electricity and water cost for a small home with one person?
I am moving into a small home (1847 sf.) and I was wondering about an estimate of electricity and water bills per month? I would be using: lights (obviously), dishwasher (and other kitchen appliances daily), heat and air conditioning, and just regular water things like sinks, bathroom, showers. Just basics. Thank!

Is this considered a "hostile work environment"?
My boyfriend works for a small Heating and Air Conditioning company. He is the best employee at his job and does big construction projects that nobody else can do at his company. His boss knows he's the best employee, but that doesn't stop him from verbally attacking him. He is assigned a certain amount of calls per day (more than the other employees). There are days when he doesn't get to each lunch because he works so hard to get the jobs done early enough to get home. The other day, his boss tried to get him to do another job and make him work overtime. My boyfriend said no and when he got back to the office, his boss screamed at him and told him to "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE!". He wasn't sure if he should show up to work the next day, or take a day off to get rid of the stress. His boss has major anger management issues and is constantly verbally abusing him and the other employees. Is this considered a hostile work environment? What type of action can he take?
