does anyone know of a small AC unit that will fit in the old style windows that crank open upward...?
without taking the window out? it's an old trailer that i am renting and it has those 3 panel windows that tilt up and out when you crank them open. it would have to have a very small amount of the unit protruding to the outside. otherwise, i have to remove the window...which i'd rather not do. it can be a very small unit...i only need to cool a small space...

leaking ac unit! please help!?
i have a small ac unit in my bedroom, i have had the unit for almost two years and never had a problem with it leaking into the house but about two days ago i noticed that when it would cut off (i have it on energy save) that water would drain out of the bottom onto the floor. could this have to do with me having it on the coldest setting for a while and just recently turning it up? (due to recent heatwave) or is this an issue with the ac unit itself!?

Ok, I asked this about 2 weeks ago, and got really helpful answers but those answers raised this question...I worked at Home Depot in 03 for about 6 months. Everyone in high positions were friends before getting the job, its kinda like they got the job through friends. New workers came and they were crappy to all of the new workers. One day they were EXTREMELY crappy to me and really got me upset. I hung out with other employes I shouldnt have, and we stole something. I took like a small ac unit on wheels. I think worth 150 or 200 $s. A couple of days later they let me go. The law was NEVER brought into the matter, they just let me go, or fired me, Im not too sure if theres even a difference. Its now 07 and I still regret it, just due to the fact my mother didnt raise me to steal and I feel bad about in that sence. My QUESTION IS, Can like Blockbuster video, just an example, check out my past jobs and find out if I did this? It was the first thing I had ever stolen, and to this day... It has been the last thing I have ever stolen. I worked some jobs before HD that dealt with money, and things alot cooler than an AC unit, and I never stole a penny or a single item. Its not like Im a closet thief. It was a REALLY bad time in my life and I did something stupid. Ive been going to school since then and I now need a job. So I am just a bit nervous, can an employer check what jobs I have had in the past and see if I quit that job or was fired/let go? For anyone who does drop my a serious answer to this question, I am very grateful to you and I thank you, and yahoo comedians who stop by to give what they think to be a "funny answer", here is a pre - ha ha for you.
