Discover Trane Air Filtration Systems
Many people suffer from allergies every year. Whether in their home or outside, this can make for a very difficult time for them. Some have turned to using air filtration systems in their homes and offices to help. Trane air filtration systems seem to have one of the best ratings in the industry. Some of the allergens they can help remove are pet dander, pollen, and dust.
Why do people need these systems? There are many household allergens. Things such as plant, pet dander and dust can wreak havoc on their allergies. Using a filtration system can help to reduce or eliminate most of those allergens. This may help people who suffer from severe allergies or asthma. Filtration systems are also used in business and hospitals. They can help to remove cigarette smoke, kitchen exhaust and other allergens in the businesses.
With a clean air delivery rating of twelve hundred, Trane systems are a leader in their industry. This system can remove eight times more than a HEPA filter can. When compared to a standard filter, they can remover up to one hundred times more allergens.
A standard filter is very dense and has a higher rate of pressure drop. This pressure drop causes a filter to work less efficiently. With a low rate of pressure drop, Trane air filtration systems can remove up to 99.8% of pollutants that are in the air. One other type of a filter you can use in your regular air conditioner is a HEPA filter. These will cost higher than a regular air filter will. Some of these can run up to two hundred dollars or more.
With a Trane, there are no filters that you need to replace. You will need to clean the filters every three to nine months. Some may need cleaning after two months. Clean up is very simple. All you need to do is take the filters out and use a household vacuum cleaner to clean them off.
Trane systems are quiet and are easy to install. Some air filtration systems can be loud such as those that run with a fan. Air filtration systems also help in areas that are climate controlled. These systems also come with a ten year limited warranty and can have an extended warranty added.
There are some other things to consider when purchasing a Trane system. One thing you need to be aware of is the cost. They can run rather costly to install and purchase them. One can pay over a thousand dollars for the installation and unit. Another consideration is a rise in your electric bill. Some people have noticed that their bill has gone up as much as thirty dollars a month with this system running.
Air filtration systems are helpful in removing the allergens inside the home or office. People who suffer from allergies and asthma may find relief when using these type systems. Do your research on the systems available and find the one that is right for your home.

Help! Air conditioning question. Which Trane AC system is best for me?
I asked several contractors to come out and estimate the cost of installing a/c in my home. The two finalists both use Trane a/cs. The cheaper one suggested a 3.5 ton unit, the XB13. The other costs $500 more and suggested a 4 ton unit, the XR13. I have a 2 story house in California with 1800 square feet. I will probably use it for 6 hours a day, May-September. Is the XR-13 worth the extra money in terms of higher efficiency, better durability, quieter operation, etc, etc?

Home Air Conditioning Problem?
Hello, I have been in my home for about 8 years, and have always had AC problems. The AC just doesn't cool the house down like it should. We have it set on 81 during the day, and 80 at night, and my bill is about $250.00 a month. We have had the energy audit done two times, all checked out OK with the AC unit, the insulation, the duct work, etc. We have had 3 different AC companies come to our house, and all say that the AC is working OK in terms of temp of air coming out, and the temp of the air going in. We have a 1900 sf home. I am so tired of the high energy bill when we sit under fans all day just to stay cool. I don't know what else to do, or who I could PAY to tell me the problem. If it isn't the AC, and it isn't the insulation or the duct work, what else could it be? It is so frustrating to go through this. I am in Florida and it is hot. I really could use any advice or help getting this resolved. House was built in 1998, uses a 3 Ton Trane AC unit.
